Recycled plastic (PCR)

Standard and customer-made products produced in Malta can be made in PCR, which is recycled ABS and PP. The raw material comes from a UK supplier that has the regulatory documents available.

Because it is ABS and PP, it can be moulded with Toly's stock tools. The price is said to match ABS and PP, performance is described as comparable with virgin material, and it can be lacquered and printed. Supply is described as consistent and secure.

Cardboard

The cardboard supplier is committed to sustainable manufacturing. Its steam-generated boilers run on natural gas and it prints with soy oil-based inks.

All paper suppliers hold FSC or PEFC certificates. Scrap paper is either reused or collected and sold to paper mills for recycling.
